Who Does Well as a SiteBoma Affiliate?

  • Web designers and developers: each site you build for a client has to be hosted somewhere. Send them to us and invoice your design work on its own.
  • Bloggers covering tech and business in Kenya: write a SiteBoma review and earn whenever a reader signs up through it.
  • YouTubers who make tutorials: walk viewers through building a website, mention SiteBoma hosting, and earn when they sign up.
  • SEO consultants: when a client needs better hosting, send them through your link.
  • Admins of WhatsApp and Telegram groups: Kenyan business circles, freelance networks and groups of tech learners.

What you could earn: an example

Imagine 10 small businesses join through your link, and each picks our KSh 6,000/yr Business plan:

  • • 10 customers × KSh 6,000 × 20% = KSh 12,000 for year one
  • • They renew, and you earn KSh 12,000 again in year two
  • • Reach 50 referrals and it becomes KSh 60,000 a year, recurring

Actual earnings depend on which plans people choose and how many of them renew. Because the commission recurs, it builds up over time.

How the Programme Works

Four steps from sign-up to payout.

1
Apply
Describe your audience briefly. Most applications are approved within 24 hours.
2
Receive your link
We give you your own link and code. Anyone using either one saves 10% on their first hosting order, and we credit them to you automatically.
3
Spread the word
Put it wherever it fits naturally: a blog post, a YouTube description, a WhatsApp group or your email signature.
4
Collect your earnings
The commission on each payment becomes payable 7 days later. Payouts go out by M-Pesa on the 5th (KSh 2,000 minimum), or you can shift the money to your SiteBoma balance whenever you like. You receive a statement monthly.

Affiliate questions

A referral counts when a first-time customer arrives through your link, or types your code at checkout, and then pays for a hosting plan of any kind. That customer gets 10% off the first hosting order. Signing yourself up does not count, and neither do people who already pay us. Not sure about someone? Let us know before they order and we will make sure the credit goes to you.

Yes. You earn 20% on every renewal for as long as the customer you referred keeps paying for hosting. There is no cap and no "first year only" catch.

You receive 20% of the net hosting amount, which leaves out VAT, domain fees and any one-off setup charges. When a customer pays for a year up front, your commission arrives once a year, as each renewal is paid.

A commission becomes payable after the 7-day money-back window has passed. If your payable balance has reached KSh 2,000, we send it by M-Pesa on the 5th of the month; anything less carries over. At any point you can transfer payable commission to your SiteBoma account balance instead. A statement is emailed to you at the end of each month.

Yes. Affiliates abroad choose PayPal, bank wire or USDT for their payouts, and the minimum payout is USD 30.

When the refund falls inside the 7-day money-back window, we reverse that commission. A refund made after the window has closed is never clawed back from your later payouts.

Yes, within two rules: do not bid on "SiteBoma" trademark terms, and keep your ads honest. We keep an eye on campaigns and will always warn you before any suspension, because we want you to do well.

Yes. Ask for whatever helps: logos, wording about plans and prices, control panel screenshots, or answers to questions your audience keeps raising. We prepare it and send it over.
