Business Email questions

No. You pay once a year for your domain and create as many mailboxes as you like, on every plan. The plans differ in how much storage your mailboxes share, plus a few extras on the larger ones.

No. Business Email works alongside a website hosted anywhere. All you need is a domain whose DNS you can change. Your website stays where it is; only the email records of the domain point to us.

Your email is set up straight away. Your setup page then shows the DNS records to add, each with a copy button, and marks every step done as soon as it is live. If the domain's DNS is with us, ask and we add the records for you.

Yes. A migration tool copies folders and messages across from your current provider, whether that is another host, Gmail or Outlook (any mailbox that allows IMAP). We are glad to help you run it.

All the usual ones: Outlook with Exchange-style sync, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, the iPhone and Android mail apps and the Gmail app. Calendars and contacts sync as well, and webmail works in any browser.

Every domain can claim a free eM Client licence for up to 3 Windows or Mac computers. Once your email is live, the domain administrator requests it from the Domain Marketplace in webmail (More, then Domain Marketplace, then eM Client) and the key arrives at once.

Up to 600 messages an hour per domain to outside addresses, well above what everyday business mail needs. Newsletters and bulk marketing are not allowed on Business Email; send those through a newsletter service so your normal mail keeps a clean reputation.

Every message is checked by a premium spam, virus and phishing filter before it reaches you. If something is held by mistake, you release it from quarantine with one click.

In a professional data centre in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, under the European Union's data protection rules. Mail and files are copied to a second data centre several times a day.

Move to a larger plan whenever you like; mailboxes and addresses stay as they are. Your setup page shows how much of your storage is in use. Need more than 50 GB? Ask us for a quote.

We remind you before the renewal date. If the renewal stays unpaid the email is paused, with your mail kept, and it switches back on as soon as you pay. It is removed only after a long unpaid period, as our Terms of Service explain.
