Patients look for a hospital, clinic, nursing home, laboratory or dental practice at 10pm and decide within seconds whether to trust it. We host your website and email, and your clinical systems stay apart from them, which is where they should be.
View the Plan Speak to UsA level 3 clinic in Elwak wants exactly what a private hospital in Nairobi wants from its website: to be found, to look legitimate, and to stop reception answering the same question over and over. Everything else is detail.
A clinic's front desk hears these all day long. When the website answers them, the phone rings less often.
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019, health status counts as sensitive personal data. Where facilities get caught out is registration. Organisations that process sensitive personal data, health care included, are expected to register with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner even if their turnover and headcount fall below the thresholds that would exempt an ordinary small business.
The responsibilities divide like this. Registration, consent, retention and how your staff handle records sit with you, and the ODPC is the body you deal with. Hosting is the technical layer underneath: encryption in transit, mailbox security, access control and backups. No facility becomes compliant just by buying hosting, and we will not pretend otherwise.
To be plain about one more point: HIPAA is a United States law and has no force in Kenya. A vendor selling "HIPAA compliant" hosting to a Kenyan clinic is either borrowing American marketing or hoping you will not look it up.
It has space for photos of your premises, practitioner profiles and forms to download, and you can move up or down a plan at any time.
